Rain of 1 to 3 inches per hour over the Hamakua and North Hilo Districts.
Large breaking waves of 8 to 10 feet are forecast.
Periods of snow and freezing rain are expected.
Waves of 12 to 16 feet are forecast.
Public is advised to stay out of flood waters.
Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on foot.
Rain falling at rates up to 2 inches per hour.
Roadways will occasionally be covered with ice.
