Big Island Hawaii House of Representatives Greggor Ilagan and Chris Todd have both been selected to key leadership roles in the 2023-24 Hawaii State Legislative session. Ilagan selected as Vice Speaker and Todd selected as a Majority Whip.

Prior to being elected to the House of Representatives, Ilagan was elected as a Hawaii County Councilmember in 2012 and 2014 to serve the County of Hawai’i’s 4th District.

Rep. Todd was appointed as a Representative in 2017 by Gov. David Ige after Rep. Clift Tsuji passed away. He was elected by his constituents in 2022 to continue serving in office.

Hawaii House Speaker Scott K. Sakai made the leadership announcements today.
