The Hawaii Fire Department responded to a structure fire on 37th Avenue in Kea‘au on Thursday morning, May 13, around 7:20 a.m.
Upon arrival, fire fighters found a 900 square foot single-story wooden structure home engulfed in flames along with two vehicles on fire.
The search conducted revealed no one in the residence or the vehicles. The fires were extinguished and overhauled and the scene was turned over to a fire investigator and the Hawaii Police Department.
The fires were confined to the initial residence and vehicles, no surrounding homes were involved.
