UPDATE: Hawai‘i Island police report that Destiny Leilani Boswell of Mountain View, who had been reported missing on January, 22, 2021, was located in Hilo in good health. Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.

ORIGINAL POST: Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 45-year-old Destiny Leilani Boswell of Mountain View.  

She was last seen Friday, January 22, 2021, at approximately 8 a.m. in the Fern Forest subdivision wearing a maroon colored bathrobe and leaving the area on foot.

Boswell is described as being 5’-3” tall, around 140 to 160 pounds, with brown eyes, and short brown hair. She has a medical condition that requires medication.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at (808) 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers does not record calls or subscribe to any Caller ID service.
