This is a Road Debris Clean-up message for Thursday, January 20 at 9 in the morning.
Hawaii Police Department reports Puainako Extension between Komohana and the Kaumana Drive intersection of Saddle Road from the 3 to 6 Mile Markers sustained damage to the Hilo-bound guardrails and debris is reported on the roadway and shoulder of the Hilo-bound lane.
Puainako Extension remains open, however, crews are on scene cleaning up and removing debris.
As crews are on scene, we ask all motorist in the area to please slowdown and drive with caution.
