Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono voted “No” on Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s Nomination to the Supreme Court and posted the following statement about her decision:
“The choice we face as Senators is clear,” said Sen. Hirono. “We can choose to protect equality for women, health care for millions, and other fundamental values of our society. Or, we can choose Judge Amy Coney Barrett who was selected to sit on the Supreme Court to do precisely the opposite.”
