Pūlama Nā Liko organization, a not-for-profit Hawaiian Cultural Learning Center, will launch a local community survey to gather information as part of its post-COVID revitalization efforts.

Previous and current students, as well as local community members will be asked to participate in the research-based survey to help the organization revamp its cultural offerings throughout the Big Island of Hawai’i. Kumu Lani Issacs, Executive Director has been working along with the organization’s board to create new and improved cultural workshops, dance programs, and other community-based activities which will launch in the next few months.

“It is vital that we continue to perpetuate Hawaiian arts and traditions, even despite the set-backs many local organizations have suffered from COVID-19 related shutdowns,” Kumu Lani stated. “We are striving as an organization to meet the needs of our local Hawaiian community, while also providing visitors and new residents with opportunities to engage in the culture of Polynesia. We are ready for a brand new year ahead!”

The research-based survey will launch on the Pūlama Nā Liko website from Nov. 1 through Nov. 12 at www.pulamanaliko.com. Participants will be entered into a drawing to win prizes.
