This is a Flash Flood Watch update for Tuesday, March 9th.
The National Weather Service continues the Flash Flood Watch for Hawaii Island through Wednesday.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for flooding.
Due to the Flash Flood Watch, the following are issued:
- All roads are reported open at this time, but be aware that roads may close without notice.
- Drive with caution as rain and ponding water may cause hazardous driving conditions.
- Do not attempt to cross flowing water in your vehicle or on foot; turn around don’t drown.
