As of April 19, 2021, all non-resident visitors are required to pay an entrance and parking fee to several parks across the islands.
- On the Island of Hawaii this new fee will apply to entry at Akaka Falls State Park and Hapuna Beach State Recreation Area.
- On the Island of Kauai, these fees will apply to Haena, Kokee and Waimea Canyon.
- On the Island of Maui, these fees will apply to Iao Valley, Makena and Waianapanapa.
- On the Island of Oahu, these fees will apply to Diamond Head and Nuuanu Pali.
