UPDATE: Hawai‘i Island police report that Kanani Meridith, who had been reported missing on June 12, 2021, was located in Puna in good health. 

ORIGINAL POST: Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 48-year-old Kanani Meridith who was last seen on or around May 13, 2021, in the Fern Acres area.

Meridith is approximately 5’07”tall, 180 pounds, light skin, with brown/gray hair and green eyes.  Police ask anyone with information on the location of Meridith to call the Hawai’I Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island wide Crime Stoppers number at (808) 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID.
