The Kamehameha Canoe Club of Hilo announces their 40th Business Canoe Regatta at Hilo Bay on Sunday, April 23. The last regatta was held prior to the Covid 19 pandemic.

The public is invited to join in all the excitement and fun as business-sponsored crews from the big island vie for top honors in different divisions. The divisions range from paddlers with no experience to the elite paddling crews. There is a division for teens and one for ages 50+.

Club members look forward to welcoming back past participants and new business entries this year.

This will be the “kick-off” of the Moku o Hawaii canoe regatta race season with nine sanctioned races on the big island. The State Championships will be held in Hilo in August welcoming paddlers from neighbor islands.

This fundraiser is supported by KWXX and B93 Radio Stations, Yamada and Sons and C & A Generators.
